About YAMLTools.DEV
The YAML visualizer where your diagrams live inside your README.
What YAMLTools.DEV is
YAMLTools.DEV turns any YAML file into an interactive diagram in seconds. Visualize is free forever; save, share and embed your diagrams as a live badge in your README starting at $5/mo with Pro.
What I'm building for
YAML runs your infrastructure, your pipelines and most of your configs. Reading it line by line is the worst way to understand it. I'm building YAMLTools so that, anytime you need to look at a YAML, you see the shape of it — not the syntax.
Tools
One flagship product plus two smaller tools that help you stay inside the ecosystem:
YAML Visualizer · flagship
Eight diagram types for Kubernetes, Docker Compose, GitHub Actions, OpenAPI and anything else you throw at it. Save diagrams, share them via URL, export HD, hit the API from CI, or embed a live badge in your README.
YAML Syntax Checker · free
Real-time validation with precise line highlighting, multi-document support and error messages in English and Spanish.
Format Converter · free
Bidirectional conversion between YAML, JSON, XML, TOML, TOON, CSV, TSV, INI, Properties and ENV. Auto-detects the input format.
Built by a human, not a committee
YAMLTools is designed, built and maintained by me, Israel Palma Sebastià, through IPalSeb Studio. The idea is simple: build things that help developers, charge a fair price for the parts that need infrastructure, keep everything else free.
I'm Israel. I build products and tools for developers, and I share the process on YouTube and LinkedIn. YAMLTools is one of the projects I run through IPalSeb Studio.
How it's built
A deliberately boring stack, chosen so the product stays fast and the maintenance surface stays small:
Next.js 16 (App Router) + React 19 + TypeScript on the edge of Hetzner.
PostgreSQL + Prisma, Better Auth for accounts, Polar for payments.
Anonymous visualizing runs entirely in your browser — your YAML stays with you.
Fully internationalized in English and Spanish from day one.
