What’s new

Product updates and new features on YAML Tools.

  1. Less access asked, fresher dependencies

    • Improved
Connecting GitHub now asks only for public repository access instead of full access to your private repositories. Private repos still import through the “paste a URL” option with a token that is used once and never stored.
    • Improved
If you connected GitHub before today, disconnect and connect again to move to the reduced permissions.
    • Improved
Updated the whole dependency stack, including the PDF export engine.
    • Fix
This page now generates a proper preview when you share its link.
  2. Collaboration, teams & GitHub import

    • New
Share a diagram or folder with anyone by email, as viewer or editor.
    • New
Team workspaces: create a workspace and give your team access to its content.
    • New
Import from GitHub: connect your account and pull a repo’s YAML into your Drive — public or private.
    • New
Save any diagram as a reusable template — keep it private or share it.
    • Improved
Version history now shows a side-by-side diff so you see exactly what you’re restoring.
    • Improved
Drag & drop files into folders, plus 8 new starter templates.
  3. The YAML Drive

    • New
Organize your diagrams in folders, with version history on every file.
    • New
MCP server: let Claude, Cursor and other AI agents operate on your YAML directly.
